VGC - boss Danny in 1968, just before the 2nd leg of the League Cup semi final v Burnley, when Town led Burnley 2-1 and had every chance of reaching the Legaue Cup final - which they did and as we all know, went on to beat Arsenal on a rather wet day at Wembley. Danny had 2 spells as Swindon manager, 1965-1969 and then 1974-1978 and he continued as General Manager until 1985.

Prior to all that he had 22 years as a player at Rotherham, playing 461 league games there.  He passed in 2019, aged 94.
